Service Manager

Position: Service Manager

The role of the Service Manager is to achieve excellent customer service results consistent with the corporate mission “to dominate every market in which we choose to do business”.  Hire, coach and train committed, focused, and capable associates to serve customers' needs consistent with our strategic plan.  Establish an appropriate sense of urgency and a “winning attitude”. 
 
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 
 

  • Supports a strong, team-based culture that aligns with investment in our people, taking care of our customers and achievement of core expectations. 
  • Must be able to resolve both personnel and customers issues promptly and effectively. 
  • Successfully executes all action plans and strategies to achieve the desired outcome. 
  • Possesses a strong business acumen to make sound decisions pertaining to the needs of the business including all aspects of P&L and safety. 
  • Calling on existing customers to follow up on recent service or installation. 
  • Review and approve service agreements to be presented to our customers. 
  • Collaborate with your team on expanded jobs, including those involving the sales team. 
  • Resolve customer service issues involving the service department. 
  • Planning for the hiring, training, and advancement of all service personnel within the region. 
  • Work with the inside support team to ensure efficient scheduling of the technicians. 
  • Ensures that all service-related business is processed daily in accordance with set expectations. 
  • Work with the inside service support team to ensure customer orders are entered and processed correctly and efficiently. 
  • Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Qualifications for this position include: 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required, minimum 4 years of Service Management experience 
  • A commitment to the concept of “doing it right the first time” 
  • Technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. 
  • Valid Driver's License and must be able to complete background check.
