Position: Account Manager - Finishing, Dispensing & Filtration

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Midway Industrial Supply is looking for a Account Manager - Finishing, Dispensing, & Filtration to join our team!

As an Account Manager, you will spend 80-90% of your time making sales calls to develop new accounts and maintain customer satisfaction, aiming to meet or exceed sales and margin goals. You will need strong technical sales skills, the ability to travel regularly, and a proven customer-centric approach to achieve market share targets and support industrial manufacturing needs.



What You'll Do : 
  • Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals
  • Spend 80%-90% of time making sales calls in territory developing new buying accounts and building loyalty through 100% customer satisfaction from existing accounts
  • Maintain disciplined daily/weekly activity goals
  • Budget and maintain market share targets in conjunction with Regional objectives
  • Target competitive accounts to grow customer base and penetrate territory
  • Master technical sales and territory management skills; product knowledge, a superior understanding and execution of proper prospecting and sales processes.
  • Maintain CRM
  • Maintain excellent communications with all fellow associates and customers
  • Recognize potential problem areas and take corrective action.
  • Other duties may be assigned.  




What You'll Need:
  • Proficiency in and ability to explain knowledge of Finishing, Dispensing, and/or Filtration; supporting industrial manufacturing
  • Proven experience identifying customer needs, negotiate deals, and close sales efficiently
  • Proven customer-centric approach, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and satisfaction
  • Ability to work closely with sales teams, engineers, and other departments to achieve common goals
  • Ability to present technical information to diverse audiences, including customers and colleagues
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis to customer sites within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel overnight approximately 10% of the time
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to market trends
  • Proficient and disciplined in productive time management
  • Proven sense of urgency and accountability
  • Excellent customer relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office programs
  • A Strong "team attitude" with the ability to work productively in group settings with other associates, customers, and vendors.
  • A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time".
  • Valid Driver's License
