Job Description:

OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for an enthusiastic Business Systems Coordinator to join our Industrial, Automation & Finishing Group. Industrial, Automation & Finishing (IAF) is one of three business segments within OTC.

Reporting to the Operations Manager (South), IAF, this role will use software & technology to support reporting efforts and a broad range of reporting applications that drive the business of the Industrial, Automation & Finishing business segment such as:
  • Sales and Operations Support : Create trackers, dashboards, ERP reports, metrics, and scorecards to enhance data visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Value-Add Team Support : Develop software processes and tools to track opportunities and projects, driving improvements in value-added activities.
  • Process Automation and Improvement : Evaluate and automate manual reporting processes, analyze business systems, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Solution Design and Documentation : Gather stakeholder requirements, design technical solutions, write technical requirements, and create SOPs for systems and tools. Document the process of how tools were built.
  • Training and Recommendations : Assess hardware and software needs, provide recommendations, offer user training and support, and handle occasional travel requirements.

Competencies & Skills
  • Familiarity with programs and platforms such as PowerBI, Power Automate, Smartsheets, Jira
  • Self-starter with the ability to take direction and work autonomously
  • Comfortable sharing thoughts, ideas, and questions as a part of a team
  • A desire to learn B2B reporting approaches and the manufacturing and industrial markets

  • 2 years of relevant business systems functional area to include IT systems and software. Or
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field.
