OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Compressor Technician to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio!
As a Compressor/Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance and inspections on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes and related rotating equipment, documenting all work performed and ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Compressor Technician to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio!
As a Compressor/Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance and inspections on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes and related rotating equipment, documenting all work performed and ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
- Repair, overhaul and do regular maintenance on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
- Thoroughly diagnose issues and suggest improvements for better performance.
- Ensure repaired compressors meet standards through testing and quality control.
- Keep meticulous records of work done, parts used, and other relevant details.
- Track down replacement parts promptly when needed.
- Stick to safety guidelines and industry norms for a secure work setting.
- Keep clients in the loop about repair progress, provide estimates and address their concerns.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preference for vocational maintenance training.
- At least 1 year in a multi-craft or maintenance tech role, ideally with compressor experience.
- Safety-conscious, technically savvy, detail-driven, and top-notch customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, ability to pass drug tests including DISA, and background checks.
- Can work alone or as part of a team, ready for on-call duty and overtime as needed.
