As a Compressor/Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for repairing and completing routine maintenance on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes and related rotating equipment.
What You'll Do:
- Repair, overhaul and do regular maintenance on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
- Tear down, inspection, and "Root Cause Failure Analysis" of rotary compressor airends.
- Clean-up, de-burring and polishing of rotors, cylinders ,and end plates.
- Reassembly of compressor airends to factory specifications.
- Perform other shop work as required (rental equipment, shop jobs, module preparation, shop clean up, etc.)
- Complete work order reports detailing work performed.
- Prepare detailed parts lists and repair time estimates.
- Recognize potential problem areas and take corrective action.
- Make decisions consistent with the mission of the team.
- Support and drive continual process improvement
- Project a positive, professional image of OTC Industrial Technologies to customers, vendors and co-workers
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preference for vocational maintenance training.
- At least 1 year in a multi-craft or maintenance tech role, ideally with compressor experience.
- Safety-conscious, technically savvy, detail-driven, and top-notch customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, ability to pass drug tests including DISA, and background checks.
- Can work alone or as part of a team, ready for on-call duty and overtime as needed.
