Job Responsibilities:
  • This position provides the managerial and leadership skills necessary to ensure a high degree of safety in the workplace, commitment to quality standards and education or experience required to build complex control panels and variable speed drive cabinets.
  • Lead communications and opportunity management with our customers for new projects and ongoing opportunities.
  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience in working with VFD's including their functionality and communication capabilities, PLCs, operator interface programs, and variable frequency drives,
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of field sensors such as flow, temperature, pressure, and level devices.
  • Create detailed bills of materials, assist customers with recommendations for electrical equipment upgrades and prepare quotes for customers, incorporating their knowledge of industrial processes.
  • Supervise the fabrication of control panels when necessary and provide hands-on field installation and start-up assistance for assigned projects
  • Maintain UL508 documentation for shop, panel designs and panel fabrications meeting these standards.
  • Manage work force including performance reviews, training, continuous improvement activities and overall direction for control shop success.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.

  • Strong ability to mentor and train workforce.
  • Ability to understand and read electrical schematics and P&ID's.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • 5+ years experience with industrial control and control panels.
  • 5+ years experience with Variable speed drives and DC to AC conversions
