Position: District Manager - Finishing, Dispensing & Filtration

Location: Louisville, KY

Industrial Automation & Finishing... Tape Industrial Sales specializes in supplying paint, powder and sealant/adhesive application and fluid management equipment. We use our expertise to integrate other solutions related to these products, such as pipe and tubing installations, conveyors, curing and drying ovens, spray booths, environmental rooms and more. Responsibilities:
  • Establish and achieve annual budget- full responsibility for the Branch P&L
  • ​Establish accountability metrics across all departments and teams- hold associates accountable for achievement in each respective area of the business.
  • Solve problems quickly and utilize a system of "Plans of Action" and "Development Plans" to maintain consistency towards the Branch goals 
  • Heavy focus on driving sales, and directly manage the inside and outside sales teams' success 
  • Direct the efforts of Service Management to achieve key metrics for performance and efficiency
  • Supports a strong, team-based culture that aligns with investment in our people, taking care of our customers and achievement of core expectations.
  • Clear understanding of strong cross-functional relationships and what they mean to manage a successful business.
  • Develops and implements effective collaborative strategies within various departments
  • Work with the inside sales manager to ensure customer orders are entered and processed correctly and efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in business or other technical field strongly preferred along with a minimum 5 years of sales/operations and industrial distribution branch management experience 
  • Previous management experience required- must fully understand and have experience with full P&L responsibility 
  • Skilled at presenting financial and performance data clearly and succinctly in a group setting 
  • Technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in accountability management- POAs, ADPs, and proper communication and follow-up
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or engineering.
