Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Finance and serve as valued member of the OTC team, this role will partner closely with a broad range of finance and business leaders, including direct exposure to executives. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to improve and create new reporting and measures for performance management, innovate creative solutions utilizing large scale data mining tools, identifying high priority work/projects to maximize results for key stakeholders, and solve complex problems effecting companywide strategic decision-making. This individual will also be part of the team spear-heading the implementation of a new consolidation and BI tool.

Position Responsibilities:
- Utilizing solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout the organization.
- Assist in consolidation, month end close and reporting of financial results.
- Collect and analyze data about operational costs and standard costs of manufacturing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new analytical tools/techniques, creating various dashboards/scorecards and reports to highlight trends and drive informed decision making.
- Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues.
- Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize complex financial information for financial plans, strategic initiatives, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, ad-hoc analysis on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis.
- Use a disciplined data-driven approach and a strong understanding of profitability to conduct meaningful quantitative analysis of acquisitions, divisions, and product performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA highly preferred.
- Experience working with manufacturing companies overseeing multiple sites.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel.
- Hybrid skillset with very strong FP&A and costing background.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
Preferred experience includes:
- Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc) and/or SQL query writing a plus
- Experience with accounting processes
- Experience mentoring, motivating, and leading team members
