Position: IT Operations Manager

Description

The IT Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the physical aspects and core infrastructure at OTC. This position involves managing a team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our server infrastructure, both physical and virtual, and ensuring the seamless operation of the applications they support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the IT Operations Team
  • Oversee the maintenance and design of physical/virtual servers and related applications
  • Coordinate with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Guide the transition planning of server infrastructure for acquired companies
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure IT Operations align with the business objectives
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs
  • Maintain up-to-date server topology documentation and processes
  • Assist with Budgeting related to the IT Operations
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and other associates, fostering a collaborative learning environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Track daily work in OTC's ticketing system


Required Experience:
  • Proven experience in IT Infrastructure management
  • Strong technical background in server administration and operations
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on operational efficiency and scalability
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Managing and maintaining systems such as Antivirus, Monitoring software, IIS/Apache Web Servers, Backup and Recovery software, etc.
  • Server Hardware/Storage, SANs
  • Cloud computing experience (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • SQL
  • Windows OS (Linux a plus)
  • Monitoring Tool (i.e. SolarWinds)
  • RMM Tools

  • In-depth knowledge of core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, Sites & Services, and DFS
