Responsibilities:
  • Attend meetings with Project Managers and sales staff to provide insight and technical support with controls system designs and product.
  • Work with engineering staff to provide drafting changes to control schematics and bill of materials.
  • Develop project documentation including submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, etc.
  • Interface with key customers to provide technical advice and relevant application solutions.
  • Familiarity with technical reference manuals, documents, and testing equipment.
  • Ensure the high-quality standards of products and services.
  • Familiarity with writing electrical system sequence descriptions.
  • Assist shop personnel to meet established shipment dates.
  • Assist in maintaining production, planning, quality control, and engineering.
  • Familiarity with proper instrumentation installation, wiring, start-up, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with the installation, testing, and repair of industrial electrical and electronic equipment to include but not limited to; pressure transmitters, level transmitters, analyzers, HMIs, VFDs, soft starters, autotransformers, relays, circuit breakers, etc.

Skills Required:
  • Hands-on experience servicing industrial process controls or related field is preferred.
  • AutoCAD use is required and previous experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications, electrical, and P&ID drawings.
  • Electrical, instrumentation, controls, technical training, or apprenticeship programs is a plus.
  • Associates or BS in Electrical engineering or equivalent relevant work experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with some experience in Microsoft Project.
