Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25/hr. to $35/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with the installation, alignment, dismantling, and movement of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
- Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues, escalating concerns as needed.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and support repairs or component replacements.
- Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and installation tasks.
- Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and electricians on equipment installations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to expand technical skills.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in an industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service role.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and as part of a team for more complex work.
- Physical ability to lift equipment, work in various environments, and stand for extended periods.
- Exposure to rotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, etc.) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service work as needed.
