Job Description:

The JCI Industries Sales Manager provides leadership, support, product and sales training, and guidance for the Sales Engineers.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Supports a strong, team-based culture that aligns with investment in our people, taking care of our customers and achievement of core expectations.
  • Engages with all members of the team to make sure that they are supported and achieve a high level of success.
  • Must be able to resolve personnel issues promptly and effectively.
  • Clear understanding of strong cross-functional relationships and what they mean to manage a successful business.
  • Develops and implements effective strategies to achieve expectations.
  • Successfully executes all action plans and strategies to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Possesses a strong business acumen to make sound decisions pertaining to the needs of the business including all aspects of P&L.
  • Create and submit a monthly and annual sales plan based on market potential.
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Implement and support corporate initiatives intended to achieve the corporate mission.
  • Must be willing to complete sales call as needed with your direct reports .
  • Ensure department and direct reports are meeting and exceeding key KPI's .

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications for this position include:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or engineering.
  • Management experience preferred but not required.
  • A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time."
  • Technically knowledgeable of pumps and rotating equipment and related systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and must be able to complete background check.
  • Strong desire to WIN and dominate the market.
