ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a stellar FDF Segment Sr. Product Manager for our Powder application. The person in this role has will work closely with the President, Vice President of Sales, branch leaders as Marketing Manager to identify and prioritize opportunities and needs. This role is a highly visible position that is responsible for execution of segment & business level powder strategy, plan development and execution that aligns, coordinates, and grows our powder business. The ability to think big and small is important. We need you to be comfortable discussing strategy and long-term vision with the FDF leadership team, but also able to dive into the details designing a particular interaction.

The Finishing, Dispensing and Filtration Segment is the leading technical distributor serving our customers with end-to-end solutions improving their acquisition, startup and operating of the surface treatment lines. With at target to achieve over $135M in revenue in 2022, we are looking for commercial leaders to help us accelerate our growth goals in Powder.

The primary mission of the Powder Sr. Product Manager is to define the powder strategy and to generate profitable revenue growth for the company focusing on the core powder product lines.

This leader will be responsible for year over year organic sales growth through building and executing marketing strategies aligned with the FDF Segment's 's core business strategies. The role will build sales capabilities and win strategic targets in partnership with the VP of Sales, Branch Managers and Account Managers across our team in North America. This leader will report to the President FDF Segment.

Description/Duties:
This leader will:
  • Help plan, direct, and implement sales activities that accomplish the company's objectives and defined sales goals to grow the Powder business.
  • Develop the strategy to grow our Powder business across FDF. Sell that vision to the FDF leadership team and gain alignment. This strategy should include both sales and service growth targeting to be the best Powder distributor in North America
  • Lead sales planning that includes analyses of our success and areas of improvement, development of targets for each branch, and development of plans for growth
  • Drive powder sales best practices and approaches that enable sales team to succeed.
  • Assist the Service and Repair growth develop the powder approach and offerings
  • Assist VP of Sales and Director of Service and Repair, develop training program
  • Develop promotional programs that align sales behaviors to goals
  • Work with Account Managers, Sales/Branch Managers to increase powder sales
  • Sales calls with Account Managers to accelerate learning and sales
  • Work with Gema & system vendors like GAT:
  • Lead Gema relationship and determine how to deploy their programs effectively throughout FDF
  • Coordinate reporting to and from Gema across FDF
  • Earn additional territory from Gema
  • Build relationships with key adjacent vendors to have a full powder package
  • Monitor performance against growth objectives

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Powder experience in Sales, Sales Management, Product Management or Technical service.
  • Proven experience in operating powder equipment required
  • Proven experience with Gema products preferred
  • Proven experience in tactical implementation and project management.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving commercial results, driving change and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time
