Rotating Equipment Technician to work on and rebuild rotating equipment. Additional duties, but not limited to, pipe fitting, manual machine work, material handling, measurements, vibration analysis, electrical work, laser alignment, installation, and system analysis.
Key Qualifications Required:
This job may require overnight stays near job sites for up to 2 weeks
This job requires travel to job sites
Must be willing to travel for training decided by management (ability to fly)
Capable of working independently with little or no supervision
Good customer service and communication skills
Multi-tasking capabilities
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Strong mechanical aptitude and capability to use shop equipment (Drill Press, Pneumatic Hand Tools, Horizontal Bandsaw, cutting torch)
Recommended Qualifications:High school education, or equivalent required
Associate degree/certification in mechanics, or equivalent years of experience preferred
General knowledge of PC and ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Ability to use precision equipment (dial indicators, mics, calipers).
Ability to read and understand dimensional drawing, exploded view drawings, and cut section drawings.
Experience using Hoist and Cranes
OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Certified
Bonus Qualifications:
Ability to work on electrical components
Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Systems and Programs
