Job Summary: Vice President of Electrical Sales

The Vice President of Electrical Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth of the company's electrical product lines, electrical service offerings, and customer alliance agreements.  This role involves strong collaboration with the Vice President of Mechanical Sales to manage a high-performing sales team, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure the company remains competitive in the electrical motor industry. The VP collaborates with senior leadership to drive sales initiatives and optimize business operations within the electrical motor sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration with our electrical product offerings.
  • Identify new opportunities, including industrial, commercial, and OEM sectors, to expand market share.
  • Develop, promote and secure customer alliance agreements centered around distribution and service.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize and sell the subscription service offerings.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and manufacturers to enhance business opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance, set targets, and optimize pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Stay informed about advancements in electrical equipment technology, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Work with sales, service, engineering, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to drive informed decision-making.
  • Lead negotiations for major accounts, ensuring favorable terms and long-term business relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the electrical motor industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electric motors, industrial applications, and distribution channels.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading successful sales teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies.
  • Strong network within the electrical motor industry, including key distributors, OEMs, and manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient and high-performance motor solutions.
