Job Summary:

The 80/20 Profit & Growth Director is responsible for assessing issues that impact our clients' businesses and creating recommendations based on 80/20 strategies that generate results. This team member understands how growth, profitability, and culture can be transformed utilizing the 80/20 approach.

Principal Accountabilities:

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:  
  • Develop a deep understanding of a full 80/20 implementation including Quads, Quartiles, Segmentation, Product Line Simplification, P&L Implementation, and lean initiatives. Must deeply understand the full process, change management implications, and guide the organization to a successful implementation.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand, evaluate, and apply recommended solutions throughout client engagements
  • Create and convey a compelling concept for clients such that they embrace 80/20 solutions
  • Develop and foster effective working relationships with Segment Presidents and respective staffs
  • A successful implementation has P&L Leaders owning the 80/20 processes, utilizing the tools as appropriate and taking necessary actions to eliminate complexity and focus on profitable growth.
  • Train, mentor, and coach clients on 80/20 Profit & Growth strategies so they can develop and execute these strategies independently

Education & Experience:
  • 10+ years in executive management of businesses
  • Proven track record of developing and executing a compelling strategic vision
  • Meets and/or exceeds planned financial commitments
  • In-depth conceptual and practical understanding of 80/20 principles
  • Life-long learner who has a growth mindset and an innate curiosity
  • Emotionally intelligent individual who effectively deals with diverse groups of people
  • Inspirational leader who influences change and generates meaningful results
  • Creative thinker who is adaptable and can think quickly
  • Effective time manager who prioritizes responsibilities and manages intensive workloads
  • Strong mentor and coach who is an active listener and provides sound counseling
  • MBA Preferred
