We are seeking a Project Manager with electrical experience to assist with several industrial projects throughout the Southwest. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication skills and a detail-oriented work ethic capable of managing deadlines and customer interactions. Prior experience in the mining and/or water & wastewater industry is preferred.

Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining project from job implementation to completion.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff.
  • Manage project resource allocation and timeline.
  • Manage project budget.
  • Constantly monitor and report as needed on project progress, problems and solutions.
  • Coordinate meetings with owners, customers, utilities, and engineers.
  • Prepare Estimates, Change Orders and RFI's.
  • Scheduling and coordination of sub-contracts.
  • Procurement of project materials within project forecasted budget.

Skills Needed:
  • 3 to 8 years of electrical construction with demonstrated experience in the industrial market.
  • Experience with Industrial/Water Treatment process instrumentation.
  • Must be experienced with construction documentation and contract administration.
  • Experienced with using project scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret project drawings, electrical drawings and process control drawings.
  • Ability to interface with internal & external customers as well as peers.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook and Word).
  • Must be a highly motivated individual with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also needed.

Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience as an industrial or commercial electrical.
  • Degree in construction management or engineering.
  • Industrial process instrument technician experience.
  • AutoCAD experience estimating electrical projects.
